The Role:We are looking for a new Local Head/Lead Corporate Sector Lending. He or she will report to the Head of Lending Ireland and lead a team of over 20 corporate lending professionals covering a range of jurisdictions including Ireland, U.S., Switzerland, U.K. & the Nordics. Responsible for the end-to-end lending function within Corporate Sector Lending Dublin, including analytical quality, timeliness, driving standardisation and regulatory compliance. Ensure safe, sound and profitable growth of the CSL lending portfolios to the Bank’s customer satisfaction and realisation of financial plans of the Bank and ING Group. Key roles and responsibilities:Responsible for the quality and growth of the Bank’s Corporate Sector Lending portfolios managed out of ING Dublin Branch, including the origination of lending transactions.Responsible for co-originating the Lending product across the various corporate portfolios in scope.Manage compliance with ING Bank policies with respect to the lending product and supervises development of policiesResponsible for co-operation and liaison with other departments of the Bank (both in WB Ireland and throughout the WB) where they interact with Corporate Sector Lending DublinParticipate in the credit decision making process for credit transactions for the ING Dublin balance sheetRepresent the Bank externally in line with the granted power of attorneyResponsible to drive further standardisation and efficiency of the local lending process and to contribute towards that development at WB Lending levelParticipate and contribute to WB Corporate Sector Lending initiatives including OHI, Tribe Lending and Leadership Circle initiativesDrive up business resilience, helping the business areas to understand, own and control their key risks.Ensure Regulatory compliance of the Corporate Sector Lending portfolios and processesDevelopment of people and culture of the Corporate Sector Lending teamReports to: Head of Lending, IrelandSkills Required:Strong understanding of WB Lending and credit products Experience in Lending Experience in process optimisation Extensive knowledge of risk management Strong Leadership skillsStrong knowledge of INGs Product Control Standard for LendingTrack record of people management and developmentExcellent stakeholder management Strong problem-solving skillsExcellent written and spoken EnglishPositive attitude to changeFamiliarly with INGs Non-financial Risk environmentProcess drivenDrive for continuous improvement Enthusiasm
