Our client is a successful Irish business based in north Dublin. They employ over 400 people and have been operating in their sector for over 50 years. They are currently recruiting for a Personal Assistant to support the Managing Director.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and work closely with the Group MD.
Please note that this position requires the individual to be on-site in the office 5 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
1. Act as the first point of contact for the Group MD, proactively and promptly managing correspondence, prioritising and routing as appropriate, including that of a sensitive and confidential nature.
2. Maintain a coordinated and up-to-date calendar for the Group MD by determining the urgency and nature of requests, making necessary arrangements, and resolving time conflicts.
3. Collaborate with the Group MD daily to establish or revise requirements of the day, and ensure actions are completed and meetings are scheduled as necessary.
4. Coordinate and manage the Group MD‘s actions, deadlines and responsibilities regarding minutes, letters, emails, etc. to ensure prompt and appropriate response.
5. Make administrative arrangements and planning of internal and external meetings and conferences, attending as necessary and operating a system to ensure the Group MD is fully briefed for meetings.
6. Undertake specific areas of responsibility and special projects, as required.
Ideal Candidates:
1. 4-5+ years working as a PA
2. Must be able to work collaboratively with a range of colleagues in the wider organisation, as well as with external stakeholders.
3. Experience in establishing positive and productive relationships at the senior level within organisations.
4. Highly competent IT skills across Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
5. Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
6. Demonstrate a high level of accuracy, efficiency and attention to detail.
