Electrical Commissioning Engineer (Dublin)
Within our Power Generation & Utilities business, we deliver large-scale critical infrastructure projects that transform the reliability, availability, and efficiency of the energy network moving it towards a greener, more sustainable future. Projects include:
* High-Efficiency centralised power plants in hyperscale data centres
* Large-scale flexible peaking plants providing grid support when renewables are not available

* National Utility projects to meet ambitious sustainability targets.
We are recruiting an experienced Electrical Commissioning Engineer (4+ years' experience) to join our expanding team in Dublin. Experience within Power Generation, Energy or Oil & Gas industries would be highly desirable.

Responsibilities
* Commissioning of Power Plant systems, including Plant Controls Systems (DCS/PLCs), Gas Turbine Generators, HV/MV equipment, Electrical BOP, Fuel Gas, Fuel Oil, Instrument Air, Demin, Fire Systems, HVAC etc.
* Ensure compliance with project requirements for electrical systems including tagging, testing, and document reviews.
* Regularly liaise with your manager on all commissioning activities, ensuring commissioning is carried out thoroughly, correctly, and as per agreed procedures.
* Adhere to safety requirements while completing commissioning activities.
Qualifications
* Level 8 Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or related fields or equivalent work experience.
* 4+ years of experience commissioning projects in the Power Generation, Transmission & Distribution, or Oil & Gas industries.
* Strong understanding of control systems, electrical systems, instrumentation, and mechanical equipment related to power generation.
* Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, SLDs, P&IDs, and system specifications.
