The Public Arts Officer has an extensive brief to develop, commission, and care for Public Art across all Art forms.
This involves keeping the Artist at the centre of the Public Art process while building partnerships with communities and all other sections of Dublin City Council.
With funding allocated from the 1% Public Art provision in Public Work Contracts and within the Public Art Guidelines, the Public Arts Officer develops and administers the process for applications from Artists for new commissions in Public Art.
