Position Overview
The Graduate Civil Design Co-ordinator will work within the design department assisting the team with various civil design co-ordination actions of various projects across the portfolio.
Duties
* Tracking design progress
* Assisting the Civils design manager in day-to-day duties
* Recording meeting minutes
* Conducting assessments
* Assisting in surveys
* Using civils software to assist drafting, designing, visualisation and analysis
Key Responsibilities
* Update the various progress and tracking schedules to ensure alignment with overall design programmes
* Assist Design managers on various projects
* Assist with the co-ordination and administration of all required site surveys and condition assessments
* Attend design team meetings
* Assist with administrative duties from time to time
* Attend various seminars and courses to progress
Minimum Requirements
* Minimum of Level 7/8 degree in Civil/Structural Engineering/Construction Management/Land Surveying discipline
* Experience in the field of Civil Engineering (3rd level work placement or similar) is desirable but not essential
* Self-motivated
* Knowledge of AutoCAD or similar software is desirable but not essential
* Excellent Communication Skills
* Strong Planning and Organisation Skills
* Excellent Reporting Skills
* Good problem-solving skills
* Ability to work on their own and as part of a team
* Ability to work well under pressure and within a strict deadline environment
