Job Description
As an R&D Engineer, you will work on the design, development, and testing of innovative medical devices, applying your engineering expertise to create solutions that make a real-world impact in the field of neuro-intervention technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Translate design inputs into detailed concepts, specifications, and test plans.
* Develop and execute test protocols, analyze results, and document findings comprehensively.
* Identify optimal materials, assembly methods, and process settings for device development.
* Create and test prototype models for performance evaluations.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet performance, time, and cost objectives.
* Liaise with external vendors to achieve project milestones effectively.
* Support risk management activities and regulatory compliance during development and manufacturing.
* Assist in developing physician training materials and supporting CAPA/complaint investigation processes.
Requirements:
* Honours degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering (or equivalent).
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in medical device design and development (including CAD design, prototyping, and testing).
