Avoca Business Excellence Manager
We are seeking a Business Excellence Manager to drive operational efficiency and growth across our 13 store locations, central bakery, weaving mill, and other business units. This role is being offered on a 12 month fixed term basis.
Role Overview:
Reporting to the Finance Director, you will lead business improvement initiatives, optimize processes, and enhance financial performance. Your focus will be on revenue growth, cost control, and customer experience, implementing standardized best practices across all divisions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and develop the Business Excellence team to achieve core KPI targets.
2. Drive operational efficiency, cost reduction, and best-in-class business practices.
3. Collaborate with key departments (Finance, Marketing, Culinary, Supply Chain) to align on strategic goals.
4. Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for consistency across all operations.
5. Utilize data-driven insights to improve productivity, profitability, and customer experience.
6. Ensure compliance with corporate, regulatory, and HACCP requirements.
Key Requirements:
1. 5+ years in retail, hospitality, or operational management.
2. Strong leadership experience with a track record in business process improvement.
3. P&L responsibility, budget management, and financial acumen.
4. Experience in Lean methodologies, loss prevention, and operational excellence.
5. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
