About Your Team
We are proud to be part of Ireland's energy landscape, powering homes and businesses for almost 40 years. However, we have evolved beyond just gas and electric. Our unique combination of household heroes and energy assets makes us a key player in Ireland's energy transition, strengthening the country's energy security and helping customers prepare for a future without fossil fuels.
About Your Role
The Electrical Assurance Assessor role is critical to ensuring all electrical works delivered through our Services & Solutions comply with Safe Electric requirements, SEAI standards, and industry guidelines. This includes implementing our brand guidelines for electrical maintenance and retrofit installations, such as solar photovoltaic, EV charge points, heat pumps, boilers, and heating controls.
You will perform regular inspections of electrical maintenance and retrofit works to ensure they meet regulatory, safety, and company standards. Responsibilities include maintaining detailed inspection records, digital checklists, noting issues, deviations, or non-compliance, and reporting findings via our digital platform. You will raise corrective actions as needed and close them only when verified as effective.
Risk-based sampling will be applied to final inspections and further investigations. Following safety protocols, using personal protective equipment, adhering to safety regulations, and escalating safety events are essential. This role is vital for maintaining product quality, customer satisfaction, and the overall success of the organisation.
What We're Looking For
* Advanced Craft Certificate Level 6 Electrician or equivalent qualification
* Current registration with Safe Electric, Electrical Verification & Certification to a City & Guilds 2407 standard

We require a sound understanding of domestic electrical retrofit design, installation, and maintenance practice, as well as relevant Building Regulations, Health & Safety requirements, and industry electrical standards for the Republic of Ireland.
An excellent verbal and written communication skillset, including the ability to produce technical reports, is essential. Additionally, you must be able to oversee and prioritise multiple tasks, work under pressure, and meet challenging deadlines. A full clean driving licence and flexibility to travel are also required.
Extensive practical experience in the construction, energy, or retrofit sectors, preferably with site inspections and ensuring continuous improvements in technical quality and safety, is desirable.
