Relief Social Care Leader Job Description
This is a temporary/agency role in a well-established child and family service in the Dublin region.
Main Responsibilities:
* Support young people in their daily activities and provide necessary interventions to address issues preventing them from living at home.
* Build positive relationships with young people and staff to ensure smooth service operation.
* Help develop skills, enhance self-esteem, resilience, and individual responsibility in young people.
* Accompany young people to appointments and family access visits.
* Assist with residential service upkeep and complete tasks as assigned by the manager.
Requirements:
* Minimum QQI Level 7 in Social Care or related field OR registration with CORU.
* At least 1 year's experience working with children and young people in care.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Calm and empathetic approach.
