Apex Housing Association is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Brookhill House.
About Brookhill House
Brookhill House provides older persons supported living accommodation, offering care and support to up to 25 Housing with Care Tenants. Situated in the heart of Coleraine, our 24-hour staff support services are available 365 days a year.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook meals for residents, adhering to food hygiene standards and dietary requirements.
* Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring dishes are washed and sanitized regularly.
* Assist with basic cleaning tasks, contributing to the overall upkeep of the building.
Requirements
* 3 months of previous professional catering experience.
* Able to work effectively as part of a team, prioritizing resident needs and well-being.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with residents, staff, and visitors.
