The 5* InterContinental Hotel (part of the MHL Hotel Collection) is currently recruiting for a passionate Receptionist to join their Front Office team.

Main Duties & Responsibilities Include:
* Focuses on the thorough and creative planning of day and night rooms operations pertaining to the arrival experience, lobby management, Concierge experience, guest recognition program, inventory management & departure experience.
* Delivers a consistent and superior guest experience.
* Ensure daily arrivals check is complete, including specials, traces and arrival details report.
* Ensures guest requests are satisfied in a timely and personable manner.
* Resolves customer complaints from all areas of the hotel, handling all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism.
* Responds to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner. Interaction with guest will be in person and by phone.
The Successful candidate will have 1-2 years experience working as a Receptionist in a Hotel. Candidates need proven and extensive experience in this role, excellent operational standards and critical attention to detail.

* Ability to prioritize in a fast paced environment
* Experienced using Opera
* Strong knowledge of the City
* Excellent Customer Service experience
* Accuracy & strong attention to detail
* Flexibility in day to day job demands, remain focused when priorities and practices changes
* Be clear, concise & professional in all communications both written & verbal
* Polished and professional demeanor when client facing
