We are searching for the best talent for the Maintenance Electrical Apprentice role to be in Cork, Ireland.
Purpose:
The apprentice electrician will work in the Cork engineering group under the supervision of the maintenance supervisor. The main responsibility will be to complete all activities assigned to the apprentice under the guidance of the maintenance team while also completing the apprenticeship program as specified.
You will be responsible for:
* Carrying out preventative maintenance programme as required
* Ensuring all electrical and mechanical maintenance, equipment developments, change control and system efficiency improvements are performed in accordance with the Quality management system
* Support engineering development requirements and work with cross functional teams to complete activities.
* Liaise with outside suppliers and support the purchase of spare parts
* Provide timely and accurate reporting on project activities.
* Ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with the GMP requirements maintained by the company.
* Adhere to the company’s procedures as detailed in the SOP manual.
* All employees are responsible for minimizing both the Environmental and Health & Safety effects of the work that they perform.
* The apprentice will always be shadowed by another maintenance technician who will act as their mentor and trainer throughout the entire training process.
* Performs maintenance and repair of all electrical and mechanical systems, supporting manufacturing operations.
* Performs routine and non-routine maintenance service or repairs within the facility including service of machinery.
* Identify and implement cost and technical improvements under the departments' continuous improvement program
