Morgan McKinley are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Procurement Specialist to join an expanding procurement team in Dublin. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and cost optimization, preferably within a manufacturing environment. This role requires a proactive professional who can drive procurement strategies, negotiate contracts, and ensure the continuous supply of quality materials while maintaining cost efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs and supplier performance. Manage supplier relationships, including negotiations, contract management, and performance evaluation. Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability. Ensure compliance with procurement policies, industry regulations, and sustainability initiatives. Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring continuity of supply. Drive cost savings initiatives while maintaining quality and service levels. Conduct market analysis to identify new trends, opportunities, and risks in the supply chain. Lead RFQ and RFP processes, ensuring competitive pricing and value. Maintain and update procurement records, contracts, and supplier databases. Support continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes and supplier performance. Key Requirements: 5+ years of experience in procurement with a track record of strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier management skills. Professional certifications such as CIPS highly desirable. Strong negotiation, analytical, and project management skills. Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
