Job Purpose:
Conducting Health & Safety contractual service visits, offering documentation and providing necessary advice and assistance as required.
Job Overview:
Our Health & Safety Department seeks a dedicated and knowledgeable Health & Safety Consultant. You'll need a strong technical background and exceptional relationship-building skills to deliver top-notch consultancy services to clients. Ideally, you'll hold chartered membership with the Institution of Occupational Safety & Health or equivalent qualifications. We also welcome applications from Graduate members of IOSH.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Maintain professionalism in all aspects, adhering to company and departmental policies and protocols.
Visit client premises to fulfill contractual obligations.
Conduct health and safety visits in line with departmental protocols and contractual requirements.
Submit reports and relevant documents promptly as per client requests and departmental protocols.
Guide clients on Health and Safety Management systems and relevant technical documentation.
Collaborate with authorities such as the HSA and Fire Department on behalf of clients, as necessary.
Assist clients with accident investigations and special inquiries.
Provide advice on Health and Safety standards and best practices.
Produce management reports as needed.
Effectively manage time to meet client needs.
Attend company meetings and training sessions to update professional skills and knowledge.
Support clients in crisis management, when required.
Undertake any other duties assigned by your Line Manager.
