Responsibilities
:
1. Work under minimal supervision to analyze, design, develop, test, and debug small to large software enhancements and solutions within Charles River's business and technical problem domains
2. Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Managers to turn business requirements of moderateplexity into working and sustainable software
3. Participate in the design of product architecture within the team's scope of responsibility
4. Develop, test, debug, and implement software programs, applications and projects using Java, C#, SQL, JavaScript, or other related software engineering languages
5. Provide thoughtful insight and suggestions in code reviews
6. Write unit and automation tests to ensure a high-quality product
7. Mentor junior developers and develop best practices for other team members.
8. Conduct manual tests to ensure a high-quality product
9. Contribute to written design and API documentation, and participate in customer documentation process
10. Actively participate in the agile software development process by adhering to the CRD scrum methodology including attending all daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
11. Participate in cross-team group activities toplete assignments
Qualifications:
Education:
12. degree (or foreign education equivalent) inputer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, and Physics or other technical course of study required. MS degree strongly preferred.
