Job Summary
This role is for a part-time Back Office Administrator at EUROSPAR Mullingar. The successful candidate will work 3-4 days per week in the mornings, approximately 12 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure the office operates efficiently and professionally by compiling store reports and performing administrative tasks as directed by the store manager.
* Balance cash and prepare lodgements, including cheques and electronic funds transfers.
* Manage supplier rebates, loyalty transactions, and coupon activity.
* Process payroll and maintain accurate records of employee information.
* Prepare daily and weekly reports for head office, detailing cash movements and other key metrics.
* Maintain adequate change on premises and ensure floats are prepared accordingly.
* Perform ad hoc duties as directed by the store manager, including balancing Payzone and Lottery reads.
* Manage customer accounts, issuing statements and processing payments in accordance with company policies.
* Liaise with the head office HR and payroll team to ensure all relevant administrative duties are completed at store level.
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Prior experience in a cash office or administration environment.
* Able to meet tight deadlines and demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills.
* Proficient in Excel and possessing strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Able to work independently and train colleagues on all aspects of the cash office.
* Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and ability to escalate issues to the store manager as necessary.
