Sales Executive Job Profile
As a key member of the PEL Group, Safety Direct is a leading distributor of personal protective equipment (PPE), safety, and industrial products. We supply over 90,000 products to customers nationwide.
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Sales Executive to cover the Leinster region. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a strong team player to join a dynamic and fast-paced team that prioritizes delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Responsibilities:
* Develop business relationships with new and existing customers, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
* Manage Key Accounts by providing tailored support and solutions to meet customer needs.
* Drive business growth through focused market segmentation and targeting strategies.
* Advise customers on the technical benefits and features of our products, ensuring they have the information required to make informed purchasing decisions.
* Meet or exceed personal and team sales targets, consistently demonstrating a high level of performance.
* Research and pursue sales leads, generating new business opportunities and converting them into tangible results.
* Attend industry events, training sessions, and meetings to stay up-to-date on the latest developments in the sector.
* Provide regular reports and territory analysis to management, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.
* Maintain and expand the client database within your assigned territory using our CRM system.
* Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our product portfolio, staying abreast of new releases and enhancements.
* Work collaboratively with internal colleagues as part of a cross-functional team, sharing knowledge and expertise to achieve common goals.
* Perform other duties as assigned by management, contributing to the overall success of the organization.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar sales role, with a proven track record of success.
* 3rd-level qualification: degree or equivalent, advantageous but not essential.
* Proven sales experience, with a history of meeting or exceeding targets.
* Experience working with CRM packages, with a solid understanding of their functionality and applications.
* Familiarity with various sales techniques and pipeline management methods.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues alike.
* Self-motivated and driven, with a proactive attitude towards achieving goals.
* The ability to multitask and prioritize projects effectively, ensuring they are completed to a high standard.
* Identify customer needs and maximize sales opportunities, tailoring solutions to meet individual requirements.
* Confidence in discussing the benefits and features of our products, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
* Good communication, organizational, and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
* Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to embrace new ideas and initiatives when they arise.
