A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Export Documentation Controller to join our client's dynamic and growing team in Cork.
Key Responsibilities:
* Efficiently manage all sales orders received from distributors and customers.
* Directly liaise with customers to confirm order details, address concerns, and provide updates on shipping status.
* Ensure accurate processing of all export documentation as per customer and regulatory requirements, maintaining meticulous records for auditing and traceability.
* Collaborate with Sales, Production, Planning, Quality, and Finance teams to ensure smooth order processing and delivery.
* Coordinate with freight forwarders to ensure timely dispatch of orders in line with production schedules and customer deadlines.
* Negotiate the best pricing with freight forwarders.
Requirements:
* 3-5 years of experience in an export process environment.
* 3-5 years of experience in a customer-facing role.
* Strong ability to multitask and work under pressure while managing multiple shipments simultaneously.
* Knowledge of Incoterms is an advantage.
* High attention to detail with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional attitude when dealing with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
* Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central ERP system is an advantage.
