The 5* InterContinental Hotel (part of the MHL Hotel Collection) is currently recruiting for a passionate Full Time Door Person to join their Front Office team.

This position entails a hands-on approach to provide a warm welcome and to provide a friendly and efficient service to guests throughout their stay, ensuring that guest expectations are exceeded at all times. You will be expected to:
* Greet all our guests when they arrive at the property.
* Open doors and assist guests/visitors.
* Inform guests of property amenities, services, hours of operation, and local areas of interest and activities.
* Transport guest luggage to and from guest rooms and assist with luggage storage and retrieval.
* Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors.
* Drive the courtesy car.
You must demonstrate your knowledge of the attractions, restaurants, and have a full knowledge of Dublin City to enhance the stay of our guests. In particular, you are to warmly greet and assist guests with various tasks. You will answer questions or make arrangements on items such as transportation, interesting places to visit, and any other needs.
You will also give directions to meetings and events within the hotel as well as explain hotel facilities.
Flexible schedule is required. Previous experience as a Doorperson in Dublin is preferred.
The Ideal Candidate will have the following requirements:
* 1+ years relevant experience in a 5* property.
* Very strong communication skills; fluency in English is a must.
* Ability to work in a physically demanding job which includes regular lifting and a lot of walking.
* Must be able to regularly lift baggage and luggage.
* Must have a passion for delivering 5* service.
* Full Driver's Licence is essential.
