Our Client are seeking an experienced Administrator/Assistant Credit Controller to join their team at their Sligo branch. The successful candidate will contribute significantly to the efficient day-to-day running of the branch, supporting cash management, resolving customer queries, and ensuring smooth operational processes. Key Responsibilities Administrative Duties: Manage daily branch administration in line with company standards Respond to customer queries and provide front-line support Process credit notes and resolve supplier invoice discrepancies Monitor and manage branch expenses, book stock, and raise Goods Return Notes (SRNs) Maintain accurate records through effective filing and scanning systems Support the preparation and maintenance of health and safety documentation Assist internal and external teams with administrative support as needed Credit Control Duties: Follow up on outstanding payments and reconcile BACS transactions Work closely with Sales Representatives on overdue accounts and participate in weekly debtors meetings Set up new customer accounts, conduct credit checks, and process overcharge credits Resolve customer account queries and disputes professionally Prepare documentation for Small Claims procedures when required Candidate Requirements: Minimum 1 years experience in a combined administrative and credit control role Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with accounting systems is an advantage Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Self-motivated team player with a professional attitude Benefits: Competitive salary Company pension scheme Ongoing staff training and professional development Employee discount Recognition for long service, including additional leave INDTR Skills: 1 year Credit Control Experience Administration Organizational Skills
