About the Role
We are seeking a Site Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day technical aspects of construction projects, ensuring work is carried out according to specifications, budgets, and timelines.
You will collaborate closely with project managers, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution. This role offers a blend of on-site coordination, problem-solving, and technical expertise to help drive successful project completion.
Key Responsibilities
* Setting Out & Surveying – Using total stations, GPS equipment, and laser levels to ensure accurate site measurements.
* Site Supervision & Quality Control – Overseeing construction activities to ensure work is completed to the highest standards and in compliance with regulations.
* Health & Safety Compliance – Ensuring that all site operations adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies.
* Coordination with Project Teams & Subcontractors – Communicating effectively with design teams, site managers, and subcontractors to ensure project efficiency.
* Technical Reporting & Documentation – Preparing progress reports, maintaining site records, and updating drawings as required.
* Problem-Solving & Issue Resolution – Identifying and resolving site challenges efficiently to keep the project on track.
* Material & Resource Management – Monitoring the use of materials and equipment to prevent delays and maintain budget control.
Requirements
* Experience: 2+ years of experience as a Site Engineer, ideally within residential, civil, or commercial projects.
* Qualifications: Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
* Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction processes, health & safety regulations.
* Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong attention to detail, proficiency in surveying equipment, and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
* Driving License: Full, clean driving license.
