We are currently seeking a Branch Manager to join our Dublin Land Freight team. As a Branch Manager, you will oversee the Dublin branch's operations to ensure the attainment of business and financial goals while delivering exceptional customer service. Your role includes maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and cost efficiency.
Location: Santry, Dublin
What you will be doing?
* Oversee P&L, deliver budget targets, and manage contract budgets.
* Provide technical leadership to resolve operational issues and ensure compliance with quality, regulatory, customs, and brokerage procedures.
* Set and achieve clear goals and objectives for branch activities while retaining and growing the customer base.
* Build strategic relationships with product management and overseas offices to meet customer service needs.
* Develop and implement a branch strategic plan, including customer KPIs and SLAs.
* Conduct regular site meetings, visit customers, and promptly address queries and complaints.
* Lead and manage staff to achieve performance and customer service goals.
* Ensure staff development, retention, and timely completion of appraisals.
* Foster a culture of health, safety, and continuous improvement, and handle other management tasks as needed.
About you
* Possess a comprehensive background in the freight forwarding industry, bringing years of relevant experience that contribute to a deep understanding of operational dynamics and market trends.
* Demonstrated expertise in leading and managing teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment that drives productivity and employee satisfaction.
* Highly attuned to customer needs, with the ability to thoroughly understand and anticipate customer requirements to ensure that operational solutions not only meet but exceed their expectations.
* Proven track record of managing operations in a dynamic and fast-paced distribution environment, adept at handling the pressures and challenges of rapid turnover and high-volume logistics.
* Skilled in financial oversight and budgetary control, with a strong focus on managing key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and continuous improvement in operational processes.
