Reporting to the Payroll Manager, we wish to appoint a Trainee to work in the Payroll Outsourcing Services department of Mazars. Mazars has a dedicated outsourced payroll bureau that provides payroll service solutions to its clients ranging from multinational companies to owner-managed businesses and public sector bodies. A full training programme will be provided to the ideal candidate.
Responsibilities
1. Scheduling work to strict deadlines
2. Daily receipt and processing of payroll information
3. Issuing payslips
4. Dealing with client queries
5. Management of time incurred on payroll processing
6. Processing payroll information on Europay Payroll System
7. Filing of Revenue returns online (ROS)
8. Liaising with clients
9. Liaising with Revenue Commissioners
Ideal Candidate
1. Knowledge of computerised payroll systems
2. Proficient in Microsoft Excel
3. Ability to work effectively to deadlines
4. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
5. Ability to work on own initiative
6. Meticulous attention to detail
7. Effective organisational skills
8. Ability to work effectively as part of a team
9. Experience of Europay payroll package is an advantage
10. Previous payroll experience is an advantage
11. Successful candidate must be IPASS qualified or prepared to complete IPASS course as part of their training contract
