About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Principal Engineer to join our team at Amazon Development Centre Ireland Limited. As a Principal Engineer, you will provide technical leadership and drive the development of high-quality systems that meet our business needs.
Your Responsibilities:
* Establish and maintain technical standards and architecture for Amazon's systems
* Design and develop large-scale systems in a multi-tiered, distributed environment (Service Oriented Architecture)
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business needs
* Develop and implement innovative solutions to complex technical problems
What We're Looking For:
* Deep knowledge of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms
* Proven experience in professional software development
* Experience designing and building large-scale systems
