Job Description
As a global manufacturing firm plans for growth over the next five years, they seek an IT Service Delivery Manager to enhance the IT function's capabilities.
Responsibilities
* Oversee all IT services to support business strategy and objectives across locations, ensuring alignment with service level agreements (SLAs).
* Act as primary liaison between the company and outsourced IT service providers, managing escalations and resolving critical incidents efficiently.
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with key providers across infrastructure, networks, enterprise resource planning (ERP), and other essential IT services.
* Conduct regular service reviews to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous enhancement of service delivery processes.
* Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, ensuring products remain within supported life cycles and align with business requirements and industry best practices.
* Collaborate with IT program and project managers to ensure smooth transition of new IT services.
* Conduct internal IT audits to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
* Serve as subject matter expert (SME) in service delivery management.
* Support end users across the business with ticket requests for hardware and software-based issues, as needed.
Essential Criteria
* Two or more years of experience in a Service Delivery or IT Manager role.
* Experience managing a small team, including conducting one-to-ones, reviews, and disciplinary actions.
* Experience liaising with third-party providers and managing contracts.
* Hands-on IT support experience.
