My client is looking for a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join their Design and Architecture teams.

The Role You will be a key part of the Product Engineering teams delivering products in a secure way, always looking at improving the Cyber Security posture and responding to emergent threats.
In your role as a Cyber Security Technical Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for guiding the delivery engineering teams through the different technical steps to onboard the build processes into their PKI.
You'll integrate with the different Cyber security tools in and off the CI/CD pipeline and ensure their operations run well.
You'll make sure the Product Engineering teams are set within the right timeframes to ensure delivery of the Vehicle Programme.
Experience Needed Good experience in Cryptography, predominantly in the embedded context.
Experience of safety-critical embedded SW, design, coding, and build.
Hands-on experience of CI/CD and some level of YAML scripting.
Knowledge of Python.
Good knowledge of high integrity systems, and secure software and/or hardware design principles, in an embedded environment.
Good knowledge of Cyber Security technologies used to protect embedded systems.
Experience performing TARA, security concepts, and other Cyber security artefacts mentioned in ISO 21434.
Experience working with suppliers.
Qualification in cyber security or equivalent experience.
Able to work in a way that is demonstrably compliant with standards and technical specifications.
Good to have: Experience in embedded system Cyber Security architecture design (e.g.
Trust Zones).
Knowledge of in-vehicle communication protocols (e.g.
CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet).
Experience with Communication Security protocols (e.g.
TLS, IPSec) and automotive software development (e.g.
AutoSAR, QNX etc).
Knowledge of digital Project Management tools (Waterfall and Agile) e.g.
JIRA, Confluence, MIRO, Slack.
Experience using low-level programming languages (e.g.
C/C++).
CS experience and/or qualifications in equivalent areas (Rail, Automotive, Industrial control, Embedded Systems, Defence).
Based in Letterkenny, Co. Donegal (Hybrid – 2 days a month on site).
