About the Role
The Senior Factory Supply Chain Manager will oversee customer service, shop floor production planning, material supply and control, and warehouse management. They will be responsible for delivering upon quality, safety, and efficiency targets while eliminating losses through our Excellence program and growing the team's capability.
This role involves setting goals, making decisions, and driving accountability toward department objectives at our Enniscorthy site. The manager must ensure compliance with our quality systems, policies, procedures, standard methodologies, and all local and BD safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
Main Responsibilities
* Manage the full supply chain from customer service and order management to shipment of finished goods to the required distribution centre.
* Responsible for the production planning process at sub-assembly through the end item product stage across the entire product range aligned to customer demand, ensuring customer needs are met on time and in full.
* Leads by example as part of the senior leadership team on site, demonstrating integrity, accountability, and a positive attitude in all interactions.
* Aligned to the above and using the tiered management process, driving essential metrics such as backorder, MAPV, and other required metrics.
* Work with the planning team to create corrective action to drive success.
* Responsible for the production kitting function ensuring that all production work orders are kitted and delivered to the line when required in conjunction with production plan.
* Lead the capacity planning function to ensure that capacity is not overutilized or underutilized to meet the production plan.
* Track and report performance measures and indicators that provide management with a summary of planning accuracy (i.e., daily back order report, MAPV).
* Complete and analyze all monthly, weekly, and daily reports and resolve corrective action as necessary.
* Analyze forecasts and orders to project capacity requirements as we advance for budget and support labor planning.
* Create and maintain planning procedures for the planning function, and work with Doc Control to ensure any changes are updated accordingly.
* Apply and manage BD processes and procedures to ensure ISO, internal, corporate, notified body, and FDA audit requirements are met in the planning, customer service, and warehouse departments.
* Work closely with suppliers and customers (externally and intercompany) to manage demand and prevent backorder.
* Work with R&D and manufacturing engineering groups to plan builds required for verification or validation activities.
About You
BA/BS Degree - Required - Science, Industrial Management, Business, Engineering or a related field.
5 years of confirmed experience in a manufacturing environment is required, including people management.
Experience in a High Regulated Industry.
Planning and Procurement Background.
