Roles and Responsibilities
1. Proficient in Cable containment installations INC. Cable Ladder, Cable Tray, Conduit, Trunking.
2. Experienced in SWA, controls cabling install and termination.
3. Working with and having excellent knowledge of single phase, 3 phase electrical systems.
4. Working with and having excellent knowledge of low/medium voltage switchgear including termination of panels.
5. Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
6. Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using approved testing equipment to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
7. Read and interpret electrical schematics, technical diagrams.
8. Experienced in working in commercial/industrial projects to high safety and quality standards.
9. Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
10. Ability to work professionally within client’s premises.
Qualifications and Skills
1. National Craft Card QQI Level 6
2. Up to date Safe Pass and Manual Handling Certifications
3. Commercial / Industrial / Pharma / Data Centre experience
4. Strong Health & Safety awareness and implementation
5. Excellent team player with a can-do attitude and committed to getting the job done, on time, safely and to a high standard
6. Mentor and coach apprentices when required
