Partnered with a leading consulting firm who are looking to add additional headcount to their economic advisory team due to double digit growth.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside industry experts & partner mainly with a variety of government agencies as they come to grips with the major societal challenges in Ireland, such as housing and climate change.
A day in the life:
* Collaborating with your peers in drafting tenders and building proposals for the business.
* Acting as subject matter expert to various government agencies across health, housing, climate change, etc. - liaising with senior C-Suite stakeholders.
* Being an SME in delivering Infrastructure Guidelines and/or Green Book requirements such as Strategic Assessment Reports, Preliminary Business Cases, and Final Business Cases.
* Project & People Leadership from tender drafting through to final project delivery.
* Mentoring & managing junior staff members; report writing, data analysis, etc.
What you will need to qualify for this role:
* Educated to a minimum Masters level in Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
* Proven economic and financial modelling capability.
* Minimum 3 years' experience working on public and/or private tenders - experienced building proposals for commercial engagements.
* Experience liaising with senior leaders on best practices for project management and budgeting of engagements.
* People person with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
* Experience mentoring junior team members.
* Core understanding of Public funding and/or Infrastructure Guidelines/HM Treasury Green Book Compliance.
