Vacancy for Digital Archivist at Guinness Archive (Diageo)
We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Archivist to join our team at the Guinness Archive, located in Dublin. As a Digital Archivist, you will play a key role in preserving and making accessible our digital archive collection.

The Guinness Archive is an integral part of the Guinness Storehouse, Ireland's leading visitor attraction. Our team of archivists work tirelessly to protect and handle the history and heritage of the GUINNESS brand globally, as well as other Diageo beer brands and Roe&Co.
Role Description
As our Digital Archivist, you will be responsible for implementing a Digital Preservation Management System to handle digital records. You will lead all aspects of the preservation system from cataloguing to ingest to secure storage, working closely with the Archive Manager and other stakeholders.
Your Responsibilities
* Implement a Digital Preservation Management System to ensure long-term access and preservation of born digital and digitised archive material
* Lead all aspects of the preservation system from cataloguing to ingest to secure storage
* Collaborate with the Archive Manager and other stakeholders to deliver outstanding expertise to users, internal and external
Requirements
* MA in Archives and Records Management or equivalent experience
* 5+ years professional experience working with digital collections
* Strong project management skills, with ability to work to deadlines and perform work with accuracy, perseverance and attention to detail
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, with ability to build trustworthy relationships with internal and external collaborators

Salary: €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on experience
