Join Our Team as a Compliance Specialist!
About the Role
Are you passionate about compliance and regulatory excellence? Do you want to be part of a dynamic team where your expertise makes a real impact? Reporting to the Compliance Manager/DPO, you will play a key role in supporting the Compliance function to ensure we meet all regulatory, legal, and governance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the production of high-quality quarterly and annual compliance reports for senior management and the Board.
* Ensure compliance with all applicable legal, regulatory, and governance requirements, including insurance-related standards, data protection, CPC, and AML.
* Support the review, implementation, and maintenance of compliance frameworks, policies, mandates, and training initiatives.
* Monitor and assess the effectiveness of controls in mitigating compliance risks.
* Develop an in-depth understanding of key business processes and their associated regulatory risks.
* Execute compliance risk assessments, monitoring, and reporting.
* Provide guidance and advice on regulatory matters to ensure a common understanding across the business.
* Maintain compliance databases and registers.
* Conduct AML sanction checks as required.
What We’re Looking For
* A compliance-related qualification (or be in the process of obtaining one).
* Previous experience working in a Compliance Function within an Insurance Undertaking.
* A strong understanding of industry regulations and standards, including data protection, AML, and CPC.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively within a team.
