Working under the guidance of experienced professionals, this role will provide exposure to modern estimating techniques and software, contributing to the successful delivery of high-quality projects that meet and exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities Review and assess tender documentation, including drawings, specifications, reports, and general scope of works requirements Prepare consultant, subcontractor, and material packages for pricing using up-to-date estimating software Conduct cost analysis and comparisons for subcontractors, consultants, and materials Continuously manage tender documentation throughout the bid process Price and review preliminaries for assessment by senior management Assist in the completion and submission of tender documents Support project handover by compiling essential documentation Maintain estimating data for reporting and tender applications Requirements 1+ years of relevant experience in a similar role, ideally with a main contractor background Strong technical knowledge and ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and reports Analytical mindset with a keen eye for identifying cost risks and opportunities Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel (knowledge of estimating software is an advantage) A diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a construction-related discipline Valid driving licence This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to build their career in estimating while working on various high-profile projects.
