The Senior Mechanical Engineer will deliver a broad range of projects in conjunction with the wider MWP team across multiple departments. The position would suit a motivated, practical, and adaptable individual who has the ambition to work in a progressive and innovative Engineering and Environmental Consultancy. The ideal candidate will have experience in the design of mechanical services from concept to completion for a range of projects in conjunction with the wider MWP team.
Requirements:
* 6+ years’ experience.
* Level 8/9 degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering/Building Services with a strong Design Engineering background.
* Working towards or Chartered Engineering status would be an advantage.
* Experience in working within client-facing positions.
* Experience in the Design of Mechanical Services from concept to completion for projects within Healthcare, Residential, Education, Commercial, and Industrial Sectors.
* Have a good knowledge of all Mechanical/Building Services Design guidelines, building regulations, and relevant BS, IS, and EN Standards.
* Knowledge of AutoCAD/Revit MEP.
* Knowledge of Building Services Design Software, such as IES or Hevacomp.
* Demonstrate satisfactory knowledge of Energy-Efficient Design and incorporation of renewable energy solutions within projects.
* Good computer skills in using standard office software, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Understanding of specific building services design tools, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and IES.
* Be able to simultaneously manage multiple projects.
* Possess excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
* Have a full current driver’s license and own car.
