Production Scheduler
The Production Scheduler will be responsible for managing and coordinating the planning activities of production, loading & dispatch to achieve production output.
This role reports to the Plant Manager and requires ensuring that production & logistic schedules are produced in a timely fashion and optimum stock levels are maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing Master Delivery program
* Preparing and updating weekly haulage program
* Active participation in daily and weekly production meetings
* Preparing and updating daily manufacturing schedule
* Managing machine schedules for all production machinery & Lines
* Preparing works orders for all individual loads
* Auditing works orders for loaded trailers
* Managing stock takes
* Managing weekly stock orders
* Recommending / implementing improvements to standards and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in production and safety
The successful candidate will have:
* Project Management qualification
* Competence in Project Planning, Microsoft Project, Project Scheduling, Logistics Planning
* Experience in manufacturing/modular building (an advantage)
* Experience with automated machinery
* Ability to read and understand architectural/engineering drawings
* Strong project management skills to support schedule delivery
* Good influencing/collaboration skills and teamwork mindset
* Strong analytical/problem-solving skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
* Dependable, flexible
* Enthusiastic & self-motivated
* Strong communication skills (oral and written)
