Position: Quality Technician
Reporting to: Quality Manager
Responsibilities:
1. Carry out Quality Assurance Test & Inspection of Marco products to include but not limited to:
1. 40 Hours running
2. 12 Hours running
3. Real life operating condition simulation (break the machine)
2. Carry out inspection of incoming material/products, document the results and report findings to the Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering and Quality Managers.
3. Manage the NCM system.
4. Conduct out of box product audits (functional testing and inspections), record results and report findings to the Engineering, Operations and Quality Managers.
5. Conduct product and component failure analysis, record results and report findings to the Supply Chain, Engineering and Quality Managers.
6. Initiate action to eliminate customer complaints and improve product quality.
7. Support the development, documenting and continuous improvement of systems and procedures to comply with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 and our customers that effectively integrate with Marco’s business needs.
8. Conduct systems audits to test the compliance of management system. The key documents required are but not limited to:
1. Audit schedule
2. Audit plan
3. Audit reports
9. Support the development of detailed workmanship standards for Marco products. The key tasks required are but not limited to:
1. Develop acceptance and rejection criteria
2. Create documented standards
3. Train users to effectively implement the quality standards across all Marco sites
10. Support, when required, supplier audits, assessments and evaluations. Document findings and report findings to the lead auditor.
11. Support Marco customers to resolve problems indirectly or directly through site visits.
12. Support other Marco sites and suppliers to resolve problems indirectly or directly through site visits.
13. Other duties as assigned to you by the Quality Manager.
The Ideal candidate will have:
* A good command of the English Language both written and oral.
* Knowledge of electronics, Arduino development systems or similar is an advantage.
* Working to ISO 9001:2015 desirable.
* Teamwork mentality and strong interpersonal skills.
* Experience of designing and developing test equipment (electronic, mechanical or electro/mechanical).
* Writing the software required to control the system.
* Creating drawings and circuit diagrams and file these into the document system.
* Conducting reliability testing of: Product/ Software/ Taste & Smell of liquids dispensed by Marco products.
