We are looking to recruit a Merchandiser & Business Development Specialist who will manage the merchandising for a base of retailers and distributors nationwide. The successful candidate will report to the Business Development Manager and will be responsible for stock control, displays and general merchandising within the stores. After an initial induction period, he/she will spend approx. 4 days a week out in the field and one day in the office. Our company Topform punches above its weight in everything we do. In your role, you will: Manage the merchandising for a base of retailers and distributors nationwide. Be responsible for stock control, displays and general merchandising within the stores. Visit customers regularly. Take note of customer needs and feedback, as well as trends in the market and competitor products. Use the time spent with customers to spot potential opportunities for new business. Recognise objectives and tailor activities in-store to achieve these objectives. Advise customers on the product range, product features, and technical specifications Provide feedback and report weekly to manager Adhere to a defined customer list and journey-plan accordingly. Be creative. Generate new ideas and ways of working. Represent Topform to its customers in a friendly, helpful and courteous manner, always behaving professionally Ensure at all times that you operate in an effective and efficient manner to complete all tasks. Communicate effectively both in-store and with colleagues. Ensure high standards are maintained at all times. Develop reports and update CRM as required by management. Your profile: Your attitude is more important than your experience. You will be outgoing, personable and have the ability to build rapport quickly. You will be driven, organised in your approach and be focused on giving the best customer experience. You will have a business development mentality, using your role to support the Business Development Manager to grow sales throughout Ireland.
