North Immanuel Lutheran Church is a rural congregation, originally organized in April of 1871 by Norwegian farmers.
It was the first church in the area and is situated in the serene rolling hills and lakes country of Western Minnesota.
We have an average attendance of 40 to 50 individuals at our 9am Sunday worship service, in addition to special Lenten and holiday services.
Sunday school class is held immediately after Sunday service as well as confirmation class currently.
Each class is led by devoted members of the church.
North Immanuel has an active group of members who contribute to many activities and events including Summer Outdoor Services; Annual Meatball Supper; Christmas Concert with local popular musicians; Weekly Bible Study; Sunday School; Confirmation and Youth Events; Quilting; Lenten Services with meals and our Annual Vacation Bible School.
Many members of the congregation look forward to our fellowship hour which follows each Sunday worship service.
Great conversation is shared whilst enjoying homemade treats and hot coffee.
