We are seeking an experienced and visionary Resort General Manager with a proven track record in leading lifestyle hotels or resorts.
This pivotal role requires a seasoned professional who thrives in a high-profile environment, excels at driving business growth, and is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Develop and implement a visionary strategy to position the resort as a premier lifestyle destination on both national and international levels.
Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability.
Act as the face of the resort, building relationships with key stakeholders, including high-profile clients, corporate partners, and the local community.
Represent the resort in industry forums and events, enhancing its reputation and network.
Operational Excellence Oversee seamless operations across all departments, including rooms, F&B, spa, golf, and events, ensuring world-class standards and operational efficiency.
Implement systems and processes that drive consistency, quality, and innovation across all touchpoints.
Ensure the property is maintained to the highest standards, working closely with department heads to enhance the resort's physical and experiential offerings.
Monitor guest satisfaction metrics and implement strategies to exceed expectations consistently.
Business Growth & Financial Management Oversee the potential addition of guest rooms and suites as part of a strategic property expansion project to increase capacity and meet growing demand.
Lead projects focused on enhancing key amenities, including dining facilities, spa services, event spaces, and recreational offerings, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
Ensure all expansion and enhancement initiatives are aligned with the expectations of luxury travellers and corporate clientele, delivering a seamless and elevated guest experience.
Drive revenue growth across all revenue streams, including accommodation, dining, spa services, golf, and events, with a strong focus on profitability.
Work with group wide marketing teams to develop innovative sales and marketing initiatives to attract and retain key customer segments, including national and international luxury travellers and corporate clientele.
Lead the creation and execution of comprehensive commercial strategies, leveraging market trends and guest insights to maximize performance.
Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring financial discipline and delivering results aligned with business goals.
Guest Experience Leadership Champion a guest-centric culture that prioritises personalization, attention to detail, and seamless service delivery.
Actively engage with guests to understand their needs and ensure their experiences are consistently memorable.
Identify opportunities to elevate the resort's offerings, introducing unique services and experiences tailored to the lifestyle market.
Event Management & Activation Oversee the successful delivery of high-profile events, including weddings, corporate retreats, and special celebrations, ensuring flawless execution.
Collaborate with the events team to develop innovative packages and experiences that set the resort apart as a premier event destination.
Key Requirements Experience & Expertise 10+ years of leadership experience in lifestyle hotels, luxury resorts, or comparable high-profile properties, with at least 5 years as a General Manager.
Proven success in overseeing multi-revenue stream operations, including F&B, spa, golf, and event spaces.
Extensive experience in driving business growth and delivering exceptional financial results in competitive markets.
A deep understanding of the luxury and lifestyle hospitality market, including trends, guest expectations, and brand positioning.
Expertise in managing complex operations with a strong focus on innovation and guest satisfaction.
