Our client is expanding and is on the lookout for a seasoned Mechanical Contracts Manager to join their Dublin team.
The chosen candidate will play a key role in the successful delivery and stakeholder management of a large scale commercial project located in South Dublin valued at €20million.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and manage project budgets and costs effectively.
2. Lead project teams to ensure timely and on-budget completion of contracts.
3. Work closely with stakeholders to meet all project requirements.
4. Evaluate subcontractor work for quality assurance.
5. Ensure compliance with current Health & Safety standards.
6. Assist the project Surveyor in tracking and reporting contract costs and variations to the Construction Director.
7. Identify and mitigate risks, working with design teams to ensure deadlines are met.
8. Foster and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
9. Ensure precision in planning and scheduling tasks.
10. Develop and manage project schedules, coordinating resources as required.
11. Monitor material procurement schedules to align with project timelines.
Role Requirements:
1. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services.
2. Preferably 10+ years of experience in Construction or a related field.
3. Proven ability to manage multiple projects successfully.
4. Track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
5. Proficient in MS Office applications.
6. Strong experience in stakeholder management.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Highly driven with strong leadership and motivational capabilities.
