Fintech Company seeks an experienced HR and ER Consultant with Irish Law expertise, along with global experience, for a project role.
The HR/ER Consultant provides guidance on employment matters, including performance management, employment legislation, policy interpretation, and corrective action. They also investigate employee grievances and advise on conflict arising from employment relations.
CORE DUTIES:
* Provides coaching and advice to managers on performance management and corrective action, enabling them to implement performance improvement processes consistent across business entities.
* Provides jurisdictionally appropriate legal advice and interpretation on employment legislation, handling involuntary employee terminations and restructuring.
* Conducts investigations and advises on employee complaints and grievances.
* Provides specialist expertise and leadership in a dedicated area, such as country-specific EMEA functional area.

PREREQUISITE KNOWLEDGE AND PROFICIENCIES:
* Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Irish employment legislation, its interpretation and implementation, and employment practices specific to Ireland.
* Broad HR generalist knowledge to independently mitigate business, reputational, and financial risk.
* Skilled in coaching and developing manager capabilities.
* Skilled at using effective listening, probing, and investigatory skills to handle complex enquiries and conversations.
* Strong analytical mind-set, able to troubleshoot and recommend solutions to senior business leaders.
* Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-cultural, global organization and build trust-based relationships with remote client groups and colleagues.
* Ability to deliver high levels of performance and service excellence while managing a high volume workload in a collaborative team environment.
* Fluency in English; fluency or business level standard in another European language is an advantage.
EXPERIENCE:
* 5-7 or more years in Human Resources in a global organization.
* 5 or more years in Employee Relations, with specialist jurisdictional or functional expertise preferred.
* Experience working with remote teams preferred.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
