Job Description
1. Work independently to carry out quality control checks on packaging components (primary and secondary components).
2. Support relevant tasks in QC Packaging area such as logging in components, batch release and archiving activities where appropriate.
3. Ensure all storage areas where packaging components are housed are kept in good condition. Practice good housekeeping in the area. Maintain 5S standards in the lab area.
4. Maintain detailed record keeping, which is accurate, complete, legible & in accordance with cGMP requirements.
5. Identify issues with packaging components and alert the relevant personnel in QCIP of all issues as appropriate.
6. Support the investigation and resolution of packaging component investigations.
7. Assist leadership in QC area to bring visibility on progress with QC Packaging analysis, maintain testing metrics, any backlogs and/or components in the pipeline.
8. Provide support to the QCIP team to help with raw materials testing as required.
9. Carry out transactions on Oracle/LIMS as required.
10. Ensure the QC Packaging analysis area is Inspection Ready at all times.
11. Participate in regulatory inspections.
12. Assist with writing, review and revision of QC/packaging documentation as necessary. (e.g., batch records, standard operating procedures, etc.)
13. Demonstrate commitment to a high level of safety awareness within the laboratory.
14. Proactively support continuous improvement and Lean initiatives within the packaging analysis remit.
15. Maintain an exemplary personal training record.
16. Execute all operations activities in a safe manner and in strict accordance with SOPs, cGMP regulations and site Quality standards. Participate in cross site teams as required.

17. A degree or diploma in science or a related subject.
