Our client is a global tech company in search of the right candidate for their team.
About the Role:
As a Planning and Operation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the planning and operation of data centers and network resources across the EMEA region. Your primary responsibilities will include optimizing resource utilization, implementing cost-reduction measures, and enhancing infrastructure competitiveness. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can effectively communicate with various stakeholders and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist with the planning and operation of EMEA data centers and network resources, promptly adjusting delivery plans and identifying sales opportunities to improve resource utilization.
2. Monitor and track the implementation of cost-reduction measures in the network and data center areas across EMEA sites, and regularly release operation reports.
3. Regularly communicate with the market regarding infrastructure demands, develop optimization plans, and track their implementation.
4. Assist in organizing infrastructure planning documentation and continuously enhance infrastructure competitiveness.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies and processes.
6. Analyze data to identify trends and provide actionable insights for improving operational efficiency.
7. Support the development and implementation of strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing the overall performance of data centers and network resources.
Experience/Skills/Education:
1. 2+ years of relevant experience in a similar position, ideally in data center operations, preferably in technical planning or operations.
2. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
3. Proficiency in Mandarin.
4. Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills and a strong sense of responsibility.
5. Able to thrive in a fast-paced, flexible, and proactive team environment.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Proficiency in using data analysis tools and software.
8. Familiarity with the latest trends and technologies in data center operations and network resource management would be a plus.
Additional Information:
The interview process consists of 2 onsite interviews, 1 with HR and 1 with the hiring manager from the team. A valid full-time right to work in Ireland is required for this position.
