The 4*Bridge House Hotel Tullamore is one of Ireland’s most popular landmark hotels and is centrally located in the thriving midlands town of Tullamore at the heart of Ireland’s Ancient East.
The Bridge House Hotel has an exciting opportunity for a Chef de Partie to join their team. We offer flexible working hours. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy fast-paced kitchen.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes within your specific section
2. Optimizing the cooking process with attention to speed and quality
3. Being aware of profit margins and keeping waste to a minimum
4. Adhere to and help enforce strict health & hygiene standards
5. Assisting the Executive Head Chef and Sous Chefs in the development of new dishes and menus.
Ideal candidate:
1. At least 2 years proven experience in a Chef de Partie role
2. Proven history of working in a fast-paced environment
3. Excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processes
4. Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
5. Excellent attention to detail
6. Confident working on your own initiative and part of a team
