Tolling Maintenance Technician
Salary: 42k – 50K

Key Responsibilities:
Duties will include but are not limited to:
1. Maintenance of predominately Electrical and Mechanical Systems.
2. Maintenance Management System administration.
3. Participate in Maintenance Management meetings and workshops.
4. System owner of complete systems e.g. Toll Control equipment and building facilities.
5. Provide On-Call cover on a rostered basis.
6. Assist in the implementation of equipment and process upgrade projects.
7. Manage and support projects to improve equipment reliability, performance and availability.
8. Develop, manage and supervise projects undertaken by the Maintenance Department.
9. Completion of Preventative Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance paperwork.
10. Contribute to the improvement of the Preventative Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance systems.
11. Control Safe Work Permit and other safety registers.
12. Participate in Health & Safety meetings and management of assigned actions resulting from action plans.
13. Prepare and review internal procedures, method statement and risk assessments.
14. Ensure Health and Safety and Quality compliance.
15. Review and approve external contractors’ procedures, method statements and risk assessments for their works on site.
16. Responsible for the management of local contracts (appointment, monitoring and evaluation of Contractors).
17. Work with engineers and suppliers to identify and solve problems and to improve the reliability of tolling systems.
18. Support the Management team in delivery of the Operations and Maintenance agreement.
19. Assist with budget and expenditure reports.
20. Deliver Inductions and Toolbox talks.
21. Develop and manage small projects.
22. Other maintenance activities as directed.
Qualifications:
23. 2nd level education
24. 5 years previous experience as a maintenance technician
25. NFQ Level 6 (e.g. Advanced/Higher Certificate in electrical/mechanical/computer systems)
26. Computer literacy – Microsoft Word / Excel / Outlook / Report writing and experience in trouble shooting
27. Safe Pass
28. Desirable to the Role:
29. Tolling IT systems (software/hardware)
30. MEWPS
31. Working at heights
32. H&S Related training – First Aid, Fire Warden, Manual Handling. Safety Rep.
33. ECDL or equivalent
34. Other complementary work-related training courses/qualifications
Experience/ Knowledge Required:
35. Relevant technical maintenance experience
36. Experience in general office administration
37. Experience of developing and implementing programmes of planned/preventative maintenance
38. Experience in implementing Company policies and procedures
39. Knowledge of the standard methods, equipment, materials, tools
40. Awareness of the occupational hazards associated with the full range of activities involved in the maintenance works
41. Awareness of the safety precautions necessary to control these hazards

42. Experience in a similar role
43. Experience of maintaining a tolling system or similar 24/7 system with hardware/software components
44. Knowledge of the standard methods, equipment, materials, tools, and practices used in performing the toll system maintenance requirements
45. Experience of operating and maintaining building management systems
