The Team
The People and Capability Office has overall responsibility for crafting and implementing a vision for organisational transformation, driving initiatives that support EirGrid strategic goals in people management, internal communications, and process enhancement.
The People and Capability Office plays a pivotal role in shaping the next phase of EirGrid's evolution, facilitating cultural change, and building and enabling a high-performance environment. From talent development to employee engagement, the People and Capability Office leads the charge in creating a motivated workforce and delivering best-practice HR policies and solutions.
Job Purpose
The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping the future of our organisational structure and implementing changes as required as we grow our organisation. The Organisational Design Consultant will work closely with management to understand the company’s goals and strategies that promote productivity and efficiency. They should have a strong understanding of change management principles and leading and implementing change management programmes through periods of organisational growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Evaluating and understanding the organisational structure and business model. Bring best practice design and implementation experience to shape changes to EirGrid’s operating model.
* Designing and implementing strategies that enhance productivity and efficiency.
* Conducting in-depth research and analysis of operational effectiveness, processes, stakeholders, etc.
* Developing and implementing change management strategies.
* Overseeing organisational change initiatives and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
* Work closely with management to positively influence and support delivery of change through many levels and areas across the Group.
* Plan and lead change and organisation design interventions from concept to effective execution.
* Facilitating training sessions and workshops on organisational design concepts and tools.
* Collaborating with HR and management team to ensure smooth transitions and effective timeframes.
* Providing support and guidance to management during organisational change.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
* Proven experience as an Organisational Design Consultant or similar role.
* Strong understanding of business operations, management practices, and principles.
* Preparing and presenting reports on the progress of initiatives.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience with organisational change.
* Strong communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
* Proficiency in project management and change management principles.
This opportunity is being offered on a two year fixed term contract basis.
