Our client, a world leader in the service industry for MedTech and Pharmaceutical organizations is looking to hire a Business Development Manager. As the Business Development Manager for the Cleanroom Cleaning Business Line, you will be the driving force behind our sales team and play an active role in shaping our market success. With a strategic vision, you will set new benchmarks, achieve ambitious sales targets, and drive the targeted development of our business sector. Responsibilities: Sales leadership & strategic responsibility: Lead the sales team with a focus on cleanroom cleaning, manage sales targets, and closely coordinate with other business lines. Financial & project management: Develop top-line budget planning, ensure harmonized sales reporting, lead sales-related projects. Lead and conclude framework contracts and conduct price negotiations, implementation of price increases and ensure compliance with corporate guidelines. Customer management & contract negotiations: Negotiate framework agreements and large-scale projects, personally manage key accounts, identify growth opportunities, and analyse regional market trends. Employee leadership & development: Manage and develop the sales team, conduct employee reviews and performance evaluations, set goals, and drive personnel development. Representation & compliance: Attend trade fairs and networking events, represent the company, ensure compliance with occupational safety, health, environmental, and fire protection regulations, and oversee operational policies These responsibilities require a combination of strategic thinking, strong communication skills, and business acumen Qualifications: Successfully completed a degree in Business or a comparable qualification. 3 to 5 years experience in a similar role. Several years of Business Development experience in cleanroom services, ideally in the cleaning sector. Established network in the Life Sciences industry. Experience in developing and implementing sales strategies, as well as deriving innovative marketing initiatives, ideally in the Life Sciences sector. Team player with leadership experience in managing an experienced sales team. Dynamic, goal-oriented hands-on mentality, reliability, open and transparent communication, and a positive attitude.
