Job Description
Circle K is currently recruiting for the position of Senior Specialist, Fuel Pricing Analyst.
Reporting to the Circle K Ireland Fuel Director, the Senior Specialist Pricing Analyst for Fuel is a full-time, permanent role based in Circle K Support Office in Clonskeagh, Dublin 4.
Circle K works on a hybrid model of 3 days working from Support Office and 2 days working from home.
Responsibilities:
1. Ensuring that Circle K Service Stations are optimally priced through the daily execution of retail pricing activities.
2. Manage exception handling of pricing and daily contact with the Circle K Retail Team to understand local market development.
3. Monitor daily price development from an analytical perspective and take necessary actions to optimise margins.
4. Execute daily retail pricing through internal systems including exception handling for review.
5. Pricing communication with Circle K Service Station Teams and Retail Area Management Teams.
6. Recommend pump price implementation, tactics, and micro-market implementation.
7. Maintain pricing master data in Circle K systems.
8. Analysis, both regular and ad-hoc, expert level usage of performance management tools (BI etc.).
9. Identify value creation opportunities.
10. Understand unit margin elements and ensure that they are being correctly accounted.
11. Key focus point on daily pricing activity in markets where relevant.
Experience:
1. Business/Data graduate with 5+ years’ experience in a similar role.
2. Extensive experience in price management and business analytics.
3. Experience in a retail/service setting is advantageous.
4. Highly competent working in fast-paced, reactive, and complex markets.
5. Proficiency working with systems and complex data environments.
6. Strong networking, communication, and influencing skills are key for success in this role.
