Head of Finance
The Head of Finance is responsible for the development, interpretation, and evaluation of financial information as well as the execution of financial decisions taken by the Board.
Key Responsibilities:
* Financial planning and analysis
* Development of reporting processes to enhance integrity and quality of financial information
* Oversight of financial transactional activities through local teams and outsourced partners
The purpose of this position is to provide strategic insight and direction to the Board on the financial management of the Company.
Financial Management:
Develop and direct all aspects of financial function for the company through the management of outsource partners and local teams.
Coordinate with Departments to ensure the appropriate information is available for analysis of business, interpreting financial outcomes, and the development of automated tools necessary for increasing departmental efficiency and overall management of the company.
Strategic Management:
Manage financial projections for new business bids, proposals, investment decisions and strategy development.
Provide detailed cost information and cost analysis beyond the management accounts to control and reduce overhead costs and expenditures.
Management Accounts:
Direct the work of the Finance team and outsource partners ensuring on-time and accurate completion of monthly management accounts.
Budget Management:
Cash Management:
Manage and report cash flow projections, treasury management and FX.
Manage and control all company assets including working capital and cash management.
Reporting to Board of Directors:
Plan and direct all aspects of financial analysis for the company, specifically monthly and quarterly financial reporting and analysis.
Provide incisive management information that supports decision making on profitability, spending, process improvement and highlights major action areas.
Requirements:
Qualified Accountant with 5 years' experience working at management level.
Previous experience of working in a large group essential.
Strong supervisory experience essential.
The incumbent should be a strong implementer with strategic thinking and experience and expertise in developing recommendations.
The incumbent should be able to work with multidisciplinary and multicultural teams as well as other parties to implement initiatives on time, on budget and with a high degree of quality.
