Job Title: Band 2 Catering Assistant
The successful candidate will be appointed as a Band 2 Catering Assistant on a temporary basis at Antrim Hospital, supporting the HSCNI's number 1 recruitment provider for Admin and Clerical roles throughout the province.
Main Duties:
* General cleaning duties in the kitchen, dining room, and associated areas including vending machines.
* Assist with food service and plate food to clients and staff, replenishing food supplies as necessary.
* Prepare vegetables, fruits, salads, and beverages in accordance with departmental food safety procedures.
* E nsure correct food safety procedures are followed regarding receipt, storage, regeneration, and temperature control of all meals.
* Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and hygienic catering practices in accordance with the Food Hygiene (General) Regulations (NI) 1996.
Essential Criteria:
* Level 2 Food Safety Qualification (or equivalent) - Training provided.
Requirements:
* Candidates must meet the essential criteria.
* Successful candidates may need to apply for an Access NI Certificate with Staffline regardless of if they already have a valid certificate.
