Aircraft Spray Painters
We are seeking multiple skilled Aircraft Spray Painters to undertake contract roles in Ireland for an 8-week period.
Position Overview: This role is responsible for the preparation and painting of commercial aircraft, including customer liveries and technical markings.
Responsibilities:
* Assist Production Managers/Team Leaders in preparing and painting aircraft according to customer requirements.
* Maintain aircraft and components in a serviceable and airworthy condition by performing assigned maintenance tasks, including:
o Docking of aircraft
o Aircraft damage inspection
o Paint inspection after application
o Water washing of aircraft
o Masking of surfaces
o Removal of existing paint schemes (stripping, sanding, solvent cleaning, sealant removal/application)
o Defect rectification
o Paint application
o Polishing
o Livery application
o Tech markings application
o Movement of flight controls
o Final completion check
o Customer inspection
o Aircraft departure
* Comply with company policies and procedures as well as regulatory body guidelines.
* Report any issues to your Manager/Team Leader in a timely manner.
* Maintain tools, test equipment, and aircraft maintenance equipment in a clean and serviceable condition, returning them to tool stores after use when necessary.
* Complete allocated documentation applicable to aircraft on layover and its associated equipment as soon as tasks are completed within scope of authorization issued.
* Keep accurate and complete time records for allocated tasks.
* Promote good relations with other personnel and customers to enhance productivity and company image.
* Maintain work and rest areas in a clean and tidy condition.
* Fully adhere to the company health and safety policy.
* Contribute ideas to work processes to improve/optimize efficiency, quality, and ground time.
* Perform any other reasonable tasks or duties allocated by the company from time to time.
Previous Experience: Relevant experience in spray painting large equipment, commercial vehicles, panel beating, or motor mechanics is required.
Other Requirements: The successful candidate must have the right to live and work in the Republic of Ireland. A working knowledge of English is essential for this role.
